Behind Blooms: Poem + Art

Behind Blooms
We hide our faces behind petals,
Soft colors shielding sharp truths.

We learn early: pretty things are safer
Than raw, unfiltered souls.

But what if we bloom openly?
What if we are the flowers – Bright, delicate,
Unashamed of rain or gaze?

Here, in every layered petal,
Is a story of courage:
Of women unmasking
And beauty redefining
What it means to be seen.

🌼 At The Yellow Studio, I believe art is more than decoration – it’s an invitation to reflect on who we are and how we show up in the world. This series is the first of many exploring identity, beauty, and the stories we tell ourselves. Join me as we use art to spark deeper conversations and create work that supports a life of slow, joyful creativity.

That’s beautiful!
