Wild: Breaking the Rules in Business + Life

Some will tell you to follow the map.
To stick to the paved road.
To keep your stripes neat and your horns tucked away.
But the wild ones, the artists, the dreamers, the curious souls,
we know there’s no thrill in walking a path worn smooth by other people’s shoes.
In business, the “rules” are often nothing more than someone else’s comfort zone.
Post this often. Price this way.
Make your website look like theirs.
Smile in every photo.
Don’t ruffle feathers.

But we weren’t made for cages or carefully measured steps.
We were made for the foggy mornings,
for standing out against the landscape,
for wearing our stripes like a dare.
Being wild in business doesn’t mean being reckless.
It means trusting your instincts,
choosing the projects that inspire you,
and letting your unique creative vision be the compass.
It means breaking from the herd when the herd isn’t headed where you want to go.

Because the most magnetic brands, the most fulfilling lives,
aren’t born from playing it safe.
They’re born from the courage to stand in the open,
horns high, stripes bold and messy,
and say,
“This is who I am. This is how I work. This is my wild.”
Wild
At The Yellow Studio, I believe building a creative business isn’t about blending in; it’s about standing boldly in your own artistic vision. My courses and community help artists break the “rules,” design their own path, and create a business that feels as alive and unique as their art.
